Blackhawk Soccer
Volunteer Roles
Head Coach: (U10-15) run practices, manage games, communicate with parents and lead their team through the season. Coaches receive a stipend at the end of the season.
Assistant Coach: (U10-15) help the head coach manage the team during practices and games.
U6/8 Adult Coach: Supervise their team during practices and games. Coaches receive a stipend at the end of the season.
U6/8 Youth Assist. Coach: Help the Adult Coach teach players proper soccer skills and help manage practices and games.
Concessions: Prepare meals for U6/8 practice nights; operate the concession stands and cook on the grills; contribute baked goods for sale.
Referees: Officiate U10-15 games in Baldwin. Referees receive a stipend for each game they officiate.
Parades: Help decorate the parade float; drive the truck and trailer or help supervise players in the parades. Drivers receive a gas card for each parade.
Fields: Maintain the goal frames; install and remove nets; measure and line the fields; maintain lines during the season.
Uniforms: Help with the sale of socks, shin guards and soccer balls; sort and distribute jerseys to teams.
Fundraising: Help create, organize and execute new fundraisers for Blackhawk Soccer.
Recruiting: Help recruit new players and families into Blackhawk Soccer
